Many labs containing XR technology can be found across campus, all with differing research interests and purposes.


Applied Research Laboratories: UT

  • Located on Pickle Campus
  • Used for research
  • Lab is not currently open to the UT public
  • Willing to lend to students and professors in any department (Priority would be given to aligned research or prototyping goals. Beyond that, sharing based on demand.)

    • Working to assembling a common Battlespace visualization ‘sand table’ system called Ares.

  • UTSOA VR/AR Lab is currently open to SOA students for class, independent research, training and workshops. Three play zones in the lab.
